New Directions Community Outreach Services, Inc.  provides adults and children with a comprehensive collection of Core Behavioral Health Services to address either mental health conditions, substance abuse, or both, for those who may be dually-diagnosed.  “Core Services” refers to the behavioral health services that are provided by a community mental health provider in Georgia.  New Directions also offers IFI Services “IFI Services” on a case-by-case basis, determining the scope of need of these more intensive services before meeting with a family in the privacy of their own home.  IFI is designed to be an intensive service provided to children and adolescents that have severe emotional disturbances or substance abuse issues. These services are most often paid for Georgia Medicaid or the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) for those who are uninsured

A three-year Commission on Accrediation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation was awarded to New Directions Community Outreach Services for its Intensive Family-Base Services.

CARF accreduations demonstrates a program’s quality, transparency, and commitment to the satisfaction of the persons served. CARF International is an independent, not-for-profit accreditor of human service providers, i.e., Behavioral Health, and Child and Youth Services.
